Type:

full-time The Purchasing and Import Analyst monitors and evaluates Elite Spice's supply chain performance and uses data to improve processes. Acting as a liaison between the company and its suppliers, the Analyst may be responsible for researching fair prices, negotiating deals, and optimizing inventory levels.

Position Description:

Performs any combination of (but not limited to) the following duties: Facilitates demand and material forecasting. Assisting in selecting and qualifying spice vendors. Negotiating terms and conditions with vendors. Maintaining purchasing records. Reporting costs for inventory and pricing purposes. Responsible for spice import logistics including contract follow up, shipment follow up and claims. Monitoring progress of shipments. Creating and maintaining cost and analysis spreadsheets for all spices and inventory. Maintaining good working relationships with vendors and brokers. Interacting with various departments including manufacturing, sales, quality control and technical services. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Knowledge and experience using AI tools for enhancing workflows and projects. Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of the organization. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.

Education & Experience:

Bachelors' degree required. Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative position. Purchasing , Imports , Supply Chain experience - an advantage. Knowledge of manufacturing industry a plus. This role offers a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, there is an opportunity for an annual performance-based bonus, contingent on company financial performance.
