Located in White Marsh, MD, SUMATECH supports customers in achieving outstanding results from prototype to production. Role Description We are seeking a full time on site Purchasing Agent for our White Marsh, MD location. In this role, the selected candidate will manage procurement activities, generate purchase orders, negotiate contracts, communicate with vendors, and maintain inventory control to support production needs. Additionally, this position requires frequent collaboration with internal teams to ensure optimal purchasing strategies and timely acquisition of materials and services. Qualifications Experience in Purchasing, Procurement, and generating Purchase Orders Strong skills in Contract Negotiation and Supplier Management Proficiency in Customer Service and Vendor Relations Excellent organizational and time management abilities Analytical thinking and problem solving skills Familiarity with aerospace or manufacturing industries is a plus Proficiency with relevant procurement software and tools
