Job Description

Overview This position supports procurement operations by managing vendors relationships, negotiating pricing, tracking orders, and optimizing inventory levels to meet company demands. They assist in sourcing, price analysis, and maintaining accurate purchasing records, often working with engineering and production staff at the company. Key Responsibilities
    Vendor Management:
    Research potential vendors, negotiate pricing, and maintain positive relationships for quality service.
    Procurement Operations:
    Place purchase orders, track shipments, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
    Inventory & Demand Planning:
    Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages, analyze demand, and mange inventory turnover.
    Cost Analysis:
    Maintain historical cost records and identify cost-saving opportunities and improve profitability.
    Documentation:
    Maintain updated records of invoices, contracts, and purchase details.
    Support Internal Personal:
    Work with engineering and production managers to meet demand.
    Requirements Experience:
    Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management (often 2-5 years).
    Industry Knowledge:
    Understanding of electrical components and particularly circuit board procurement.
    Analytical Skills:
    Ability to analyze data for forecasting and inventory control.
    Negotiation Skills:
    Strong communication skills for negotiating with suppliers.
    Software Skills:
    Familiarity with ERP software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

    $25.00
