We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Specialistto join our Doors & Hardware team in Glassboro, NJ. The ideal candidate will have experience sourcing and purchasing commercial doors, frames, architectural hardware, access control components, and related building products. This role is critical in ensuring accurate procurement, competitive pricing, and timely delivery of materials to support project schedules and customer expectations. Responsibilities Source and procure commercial hollow metal doors and frames, wood doors, architectural hardware, electronic access control products, and specialty openings.

Evaluate supplier and manufacturer proposals to ensure compliance with project specifications and customer requirements.

Negotiate pricing, lead times, and purchasing agreements with manufacturers, distributors, and vendors.

Generate and maintain purchase orders within company ERP systems.

Coordinate directly with project managers, estimators, sales representatives, and vendors to ensure project requirements are clearly communicated.

Track and expedite material deliveries to meet project schedules.

Review submittals, shop drawings, and hardware schedules for procurement accuracy.

Identify value engineering opportunities and recommend cost-saving alternatives when appropriate.

Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturer representatives.

Maintain accurate purchasing records, vendor performance metrics, and procurement documentation.

Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards throughout the procurement process. Required Skills and Qualifications 3+ years of procurement, purchasing, project coordination, or estimating experience within the construction industry.

Knowledge of commercial door and hardware products, manufacturers, and industry standards.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, hardware schedules, and submittal documents.

Experience negotiating pricing and managing supplier relationships.

Proficiency with NetSuite, Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, or similar ERP and CRM platforms.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
