Kung Fu Tea - Glassboro About the Position Kung Fu Tea Glassboro is looking for friendly, responsible, and organized team members to join our team. Our baristas prepare handcrafted bubble tea, milk tea, slushes, and other beverages while providing friendly and efficient customer service. This position works with minimal supervision, so we are looking for someone who can follow procedures, stay organized, and take responsibility for keeping their station ready. No bubble tea experience is required. We will provide training. What You'll Do Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner. Take orders and operate the POS system. Prepare drinks according to Kung Fu Tea recipes and formula sheets. Follow customer modifications accurately, including sugar level, ice level, toppings, and milk substitutions. Prepare tea, boba, toppings, syrups, and other ingredients. Prepare and serve approved food items when assigned. Keep drink stations, counters, sinks, equipment, and customer areas clean. Wash and sanitize tools and equipment throughout the shift. Refill cups, lids, straws, ice, tea, toppings, and other supplies before they run low. Check ingredient levels regularly instead of waiting until something is completely out. Follow food safety, sanitation, handwashing, and store safety procedures. Handle cash and payments accurately. Communicate with coworkers when ingredients need to be prepared or restocked. Help prepare the next shift so coworkers have enough supplies to work efficiently. Complete opening, shift-change, and closing duties when assigned. What We're Looking For You may be a good fit if you: Are dependable and arrive on time. Learn quickly and are willing to follow recipes and SOPs. Pay attention to details. Take pride in making drinks correctly and consistently. Can stay calm and organized during rush periods. Can work independently without needing constant supervision. Communicate clearly with customers and coworkers. Are comfortable asking questions when you are unsure. Work well as part of a team. Keep your work area clean and organized. Can move between different tasks during the same shift. Are willing to receive coaching and continue improving.
Pay:
$16.10 - $18.00 per hour
