is looking for a detail-oriented and driven Purchasing/Material Associate to join our team in Port Murray, NJ. Responsibilities:

Source, negotiate, and issue purchase orders for raw materials, components, and supplies Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock and minimize shortages Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to track deliveries and resolve discrepancies Collaborate with production and engineering teams to align material availability with manufacturing schedules Maintain accurate purchasing records, documentation, and supplier databases Evaluate supplier performance and assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities Process receiving documentation and reconcile purchase orders with incoming shipments

Requirements:

Familiarity with supply chain processes and inventory control principles Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail Effective communication skills for vendor and cross-departmental coordination Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced manufacturing environment 1-3 years experience.
