Job Description

About the Role We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to support purchasing operations for electrical construction projects. This role will be responsible for sourcing electrical materials, tools, safety supplies, and equipment while supporting project schedules and procurement objectives. This is a fast-paced role working closely with project managers, field operations, vendors, and procurement leadership. Key Responsibilities Receive and process material and equipment requests from project teams Source electrical materials, tools, and construction supplies Solicit vendor pricing and review quotations Generate and manage purchase orders Track delivery schedules and expedite orders as needed Maintain accurate procurement records and PO updates Coordinate with vendors, project managers, and field teams Support procurement reporting and additional purchasing activities as needed Qualifications Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred 3+ years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience preferred Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skills Familiarity with purchase orders and procurement processes Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment Preferred Experience Electrical construction or industrial construction environment Experience with electrical materials and equipment ERP or procurement software experience
Pay:
$26.00 - $29.00 per hour
