Job Description

We're looking for a detail‑oriented Mandarin Speaking Global Buyer to manage sourcing and procurement for materials, ingredients, and services across AHF and MTC. This role supports vendor management, international sourcing, inventory planning, and cross‑functional coordination to ensure timely, compliant, and cost‑effective supply. If you excel in a fast‑paced environment, communicate fluently in Mandarin and English, and have experience in regulated industries, we'd love to connect.
Responsibilities :
(but are not limited to the following) Oversee the complete sourcing and procurement process for all types of ingredients, equipment and packaging materials, and services across both AHF and MTC. Identify, evaluate, and qualify new domestic and international vendors, including researching ingredient suppliers, collecting technical documentation, and assessing market trends and product developments. Maintain and expand the vendor master database, ensuring accurate records of supplier details, pricing, terms, MOQs, lead times, and approved materials. Prepare and process Purchase Orders and Purchasing Contracts in accordance with company Purchasing SOPs, regulatory requirements, and approval workflows. Familiar with
SAP /ERP
operation System , good communicate skills with sales team in office, monitoring all open orders, track shipments, update ETAs/EDAs, and follow up to ensure timely delivery for both companies' sales needs. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Accounting, Operations, Quality and R&D departments to support sourcing requests, material changes, and project timelines. Well organize inventory planning, including contract buys, spot purchases, new development projects, and sales demand analysis. Assist Quality with vendor qualification, documentation requests, investigations, and resolution of material issues or discrepancies. Review industry publications, ingredient and equipment databases, buyer directories, and trade news to stay informed on new products, emerging suppliers, and pricing trends. Ensure all purchasing activities comply with cGMP, FDA, FSVP, OSHA, EPA, DEA, and MTC's Quality SOPs. Maintain strict confidentiality over pricing, material costing, and vendor relationships. Participate in audit support, HACCP responsibilities, and food safety initiatives for the facility. Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements to strengthen the purchasing function. Ability to negotiate with suppliers with data-driven arguments, market trend information, and competitor research. Work with Marketing to promote monthly newsletter based on new ingredient projects & existing inventory ingredients. Ensure material supply enables production prioritization, achieving customer service targets & confirms ability to supply future material demands beyond order period. Perform other duties as required by Senior Management.
Education and Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Chemical Engineering, AI technologies, Logistics, or a related field preferred. Minimum 3-5 years of purchasing or sourcing experience, preferably in nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, food, or similar regulated industries. Experience working with international suppliers (especially in Asia) and sourcing raw material ingredients. Knowledge of import/export documentation, manufacturing processes and supplement/ingredient markets.
Skills and Abilities:
Must speak, read and write in both Mandarin and English. Strong communication, negotiation and cross functional collaboration skills. Highly organized with strong time-management and multitasking abilities. Proficient in SAP or similar ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), search engines, and database tools. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently while prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment. Customer-service mindset with the ability to build and maintain long-term vendor relationships. High level of integrity and professionalism; must uphold confidentiality requirements. Ability to provide leadership support and work as a team player.

Work Environment:
Work in an office environment May be in contact with Allergens (Milk, Eggs, Fish, Crustacean Shellfish. Tree Nuts, Peanuts, Wheat, and Soybeans) Potential to move between office and warehouse areas to complete job functions, include close proximity to heavy machinery and powders This position is onsite Compliance with New York State Human Rights Pay Transparency Law, the annual rate range for this position is 55K to 65K. $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
