Monday- Friday; 8am- 5:00pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the purchasing of non-ferrous scrap metals.

• Develop and grow partnerships with international and domestic customers. Includes consistent communication and regular travel to meet end objectives.
• Negotiating skills that combine the characteristics of a professional relationship and a well-developed strategy.
• Provide excellent customer focus to result in client satisfaction.
• Understand market trends within the non-ferrous metals markets.
• Assist in developing strategic plans for generating new sources and sales of raw material.
• Develop knowledge of scrap metal markets and the various tools necessary to compete (terminal markets, swaps, tolls, formula pricing, hedging, etc.

).

Qualifications:

Education and/or

Experience:

• Minimum of 5+ years of successful experience in the non-ferrous scrap industry.
• Extensive professional network of suppliers and customers within the non-ferrous metals industry.
• The ability to excel under pressure, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, rapidly process information and make decisions based on market dynamics.
• Team player with the ability to build relationships and effectively interact both internally and externally with people at all levels of the organization.
• Excellent negotiations skills.
• Microsoft Office experience.
• Demonstrated ability to influence others and effect change.
• Highest level of personal and professional integrity.
