What You'll Do Conduct high-volume outbound calls to consumers with delinquent purchased debt accounts Negotiate settlements and payment arrangements that support account recovery Perform skip tracing to locate consumers and maintain timely account follow-ups Navigate multiple systems while accurately documenting customer interactions Follow all FDCPA, FCRA, dispute-handling, Mini-Miranda, state statute-of-limitations, and compliance requirements What You'll Bring 2-3 years of third-party collections experience, including at least one year working with purchased paper, dormant judgments, or salvage debt Familiarity with auto-dialers, CRM software, and standard skip-tracing platforms Strong knowledge of the Mini-Miranda, dispute procedures, and how state-level statutes of limitations affect communications regarding legal action Professional communication, negotiation, time-management, problem-solving, critical-thinking, computer, typing, and keyboarding skills You should also be self-motivated, goal-oriented, dependable, and able to work effectively both independently and in a team setting. You must be comfortable working professionally with a diverse customer base and maintaining outstanding attendance and a strong work ethic. Knowledge of personal loans or financial services is a strong plus. A criminal background check is required. A criminal background check is required before employment.
