$20/hr Monday- Friday 7:30am - 4pm

Tool Crib Attendant Job Description:

Works with Operations Engineering and Procurement to provide necessary tooling in support of the new programs and orders recurring material required to support production and production activities. Prepares and develops tool strategies and kitting to aid in the flow of materials to operations. Works cost savings initiatives and planning of new programs to ensure that tooling is available when required. Prepare and issue Request for Quotes to suppliers in support of tooling requirements. Communicate with suppliers to negotiate prices and lead time in support of operations. Monitor stock levels and track orders to ensure timely delivery while reducing overall inventory. Develop kitting programs where possible to aid in the manufacturing process. Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures. Organize and maintain a clean workspace to allow for timely location of items.

Tool Crib Attendant Skills:

Proficiency in ERP systems. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently. Knowledge of tooling Ability to read engineering Planning documents that define tooling needs High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, Supply chain management, or a related field is a plus. Previous experience in procurement or a related field is preferred. Strong communication skills.
