Why This Role Rocks As Buyer, you'll play a key role in keeping our restaurants running smoothly by sourcing, negotiating, and managing Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment across all Texas Roadhouse concepts. You'll partner with suppliers, distributors, and internal teams to ensure the right products are available at the right time—always prioritizing quality, food safety, and cost. If you enjoy problem‑solving, working cross‑functionally, and making a real impact behind the scenes of a fast‑growing restaurant brand, this role brings the sizzle. •This position is located at the Texas Roadhouse Support Center located in Louisville, Kentucky and will work a hybrid schedule. Remote may be considered for more experienced candidates. What's On Your Plate Source, negotiate, and manage contracts for assigned FFE categories Support restaurant operations by resolving purchasing and distribution issues Partner with suppliers and distributors to ensure product availability, including new store openings Research and evaluate alternate suppliers, coordinating product samples, testing, and approvals Support RFPs, bids, specifications, and contract awards Monitor supplier performance using KPIs and drive continuous improvement Analyze market trends, pricing, and supply conditions Communicate product changes and updates to restaurants and internal teams Maintain accurate contract documentation and procurement records Identify and lead opportunities to streamline and improve procure‑to‑pay processes Your Recipe for Success Bachelor's Degree preferred Restaurant industry experience a plus 2+ years of experience in Purchasing, Buying, FFE, Distribution, or a relevant experience in Supply Chain Strong Excel skills with confidence in data analysis Customer‑focused mindset with solid communication and collaboration skills Ability to handle foundational procurement responsibilities with guidance and initiative Why You'll Love Your Job As our founder Kent Taylor said, "We're a people-first company that just happens to serve steaks."
