Join Our Team as a Buyer Are you an experienced purchasing professional who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment? We are seeking a detail-oriented Buyer to support procurement, inventory management, and vendor relationships within our growing manufacturing operation. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring materials, supplies, and inventory are available to support daily operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working independently, and brings strong SAP and advanced Excel expertise. What You'll Do As a Buyer, you will:

+ Create and manage purchase orders in SAP, typically handling multiple purchase orders daily.

+ Monitor inventory levels and execute SAP transactions to track material availability and usage.

+ Review inventory forecasts and purchasing requirements based on sales projections and operational demand.

+ Procure a wide range of materials and supplies, including:

+ Machine parts and manufacturing components

+ Packaging materials

+ Product ingredients and flavorings

+ Office and operational supplies

+ Communicate directly with vendors regarding order status, deliveries, quality concerns, and supply requirements.

+ Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records.

+ Generate, update, and analyze reports using advanced Microsoft Excel functions.

+ Collaborate with Quality, Operations, and Purchasing teams to resolve inventory and material issues.

+ Support the Purchasing Manager with administrative and operational tasks.

+ Ensure purchasing activities are completed accurately, on time, and with exceptional attention to detail.

+ Partner with supply chain leadership to align purchasing activities with broader business objectives. Required Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: + 3+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory control, supply chain, or a related field.

+ Experience creating and managing purchase orders in a professional environment.

+ Strong hands-on SAP experience, particularly within purchasing and inventory modules.

+ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.

+ Excellent data entry accuracy and record-keeping abilities.

+ Strong organizational and time-management skills.

+ Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple responsibilities.

+ Comfort working in a high-volume, data-focused environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shakopee, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
