This is a great opportunity for an experienced purchasing professional who is both a strong team player and highly effective working independently. What You'll DoQuote and support sales contractsConvert purchase requisitions into purchase ordersManage standard inventory through the ERP systemSchedule material to meet inventory and supply chain objectivesReview and process return purchase ordersEnter credits and debits as requestedMaintain knowledge of suppliers, pricing, lead times, and capabilitiesBuild relationships with supplier inside and outside sales contactsPurchase against contractual agreements and support risk evaluationsSupport regions with alternatives and sourcing decisionsUnderstand internal processing equipment and global supply baseCommunicate effectively with internal teams and suppliersSupport corporate objectives (ROCE, sales, operations, purchasing)This role includes both strategic and administrative responsibilities.
