- Grand Prairie, TX) We are seeking an Procurement Buyer to join a leading global aerospace company.
In this role, you will manage purchase orders from supplier sourcing and bid evaluation through pricing/delivery negotiation, SAP updates, and supplier commitment tracking to support production schedules. This is a 3-month contract (extensions likely), 40-hour-per-week role (4-day 10-hour shifts per week), and this is an Hybrid role in Grand Prairie, TX. This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered. Responsibilities The Material Buyer supports PAC-3 procurement execution by developing and administering purchase orders for specialized materials, equipment, and services.
The Buyer prepares bid packages, solicits and evaluates supplier proposals, negotiates pricing and delivery terms, and awards purchase orders within established authority.
The Buyer will prioritize schedule and best value in support of the PAC-3 ramp, coordinate closely with SEMAC, GSC, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and suppliers, and resolve procurement roadblocks affecting production. Responsibilities also include processing PO changes, maintaining accurate SAP data, tracking supplier commitments, and supporting delivery recovery actions. Requirements Must be a US Citizen
2 years experience in working in Procurement and/or Overseeing clients/customers/suppliers.
2+ years professional experience using Microsoft Office, SAP
Communication, written & verbal
Procurement/Commercial, business acumen and analytical skills
Bachelor's Degree from Accredited university Desired qualifications: Strong procurement/commercial, business acumen, financial control and analytical skills.
Experience in working in multi-functional organizations and a proven ability to achieve profession and business goals.
Capable of operating to tight schedules in a dynamic work environment.
Confident self-starter, with an ability to innovate and think laterally, work confidently both individually and as part of a team.
Ability to work within established processes and procedures.
