Salary:
$70-$85K Is this your perfect fit? Are you an experienced Buyer/Planner looking to take your career to the next step? Would you like to be a part of a growing company in the Upstate SC area with a global presence? If that describes you, we need to talk! What your future day will look like: Conduct procurement activities and materials/production planning for a manufacturing environment. Monitor/forecast raw material needs to ensure efficient production operations Work cross-functionally with other departments along with participating in R D projects and product life cycle Source new suppliers, issue RFPs/RFQs, and negotiate vendor pricing/terms Identify cost-saving opportunities by working with suppliers Monitor supplier performance, KPI's and perform value analysis Maintain accurate procurement records, data and other related information Monitor market trends including materials pricing and new technology within industry circles

Direct Hire To be a champion in this role, you will need: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or other related field is highly preferred 3+ years of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment including materials and production planning. Prior experience working closely with suppliers (domestic/international) negotiating contracts including delivery times. Strong foundational knowledge of ERP/MRP Systems Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
