Potential for Temp-to-Perm
HTI is seeking a Buyer Associate for a leading manufacturer in Summerville, SC. This is a 6-month contract opportunity with the potential to become a permanent position based on business needs and performance.
This role is ideal for someone with purchasing or supply chain experience who is looking to build their career in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What We Offer
$28-32/hour, based on experience
Candidates with Oracle ERP experience and/or purchasing experience may be considered at the higher end of the pay range ($30+/hour)
6-month contract with the potential for permanent employment

What You Need
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
Experience in a manufacturing and/or supply chain environment
Purchasing or procurement experience preferred
Oracle ERP experience is highly preferred
Strong understanding of purchasing, procurement, and material planning processes
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Experience with government contracting (FAR/DFARS) is a plus
APICS or ISM certification is a plus
Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to obtain a Department of Defense Security Clearance
What Your Role Will Look Like
Review purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders to approved suppliers
Manage open purchase orders and ensure materials are delivered on time to support production
Evaluate supplier quotations and assist with supplier selection and negotiations related to price, quality, and delivery
Support procurement reporting and maintain accurate purchasing documentation
Partner with suppliers and internal departments to resolve purchasing and invoice issues
Help ensure a reliable flow of materials to support manufacturing operations
