Job Responsibilities Under general supervision, plans sourcing of goods and services to support manufacturing, field operations or project management

Complies with and executes Category Management strategy in accordance with policies and procedures

Creates request for quotations (RFQ) or organizes competitive biddings from various suppliers to obtain best quality, delivery and price for goods and services (RFI-request for information/RFP-request for proposal)

Manage complex procurement activities, high-value expenditures, supplier relationships, and performance reviews.

Utilize SAP S/4HANA and other procurement/ERP systems to manage purchasing activities, supplier information, transactions, and reporting

Implement agreements for local procurement of goods and services not covered under Category Management

Assesses supplier performance and conducts reviews with suppliers

May be responsible for complex operations or large expenditures

May lead in the development of less experienced Procurement Specialists

Job tasks impact cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations

Undergraduate degree and minimum of 5 years of experience in related fields

Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs. Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available from the Senior Procurement Specialist up to a Supervisor level
