Procurement Specialist II Zachry Group - 3.8 Pasadena, TX Job Details Full-time 7 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Productivity software Stakeholder management Full Job Description Procurement Specialist II is responsible for medium and high criticality materials, equipment, and subcontracts sourcing events. Expectation is "expert level" knowledge on procurement related processes and procedures. Additionally, a Procurement Specialist II should develop negotiating strategies, assign work, plus oversee and mentor lesser tenured peers; e.g. Procurement Specialist I and II. The Procurement Specialist II is also responsible for sourcing activities for both estimating support on projects in the Deal Development phase and Procurement Execution activities during the life cycle of a project from RFP solicitation through the Award phase. The Procurement Coordinator III must also be proficient in performing commercial analysis' of Bidders' proposals, writing and submitting recommendations of award and conducting Bidder conferences. Responsibilities also include engaging and maintaining Supplier relationships on awarded contracts, communicating with key internal and ext ernal stakeholders and maintaining overall transparency with the Project Management Team (PMT). What you'll need: High School Diploma or GED Minimum 3 years of related experience Shall have the ability to work independently, think and plan ahead and bring issues to attention of management. Ability to operate Microsoft suite. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, detail oriented and provide accurate work products Experience using Microsoft Office Productivity tools (Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, etc.) (preferred) Experience creating document templates and workflows in industry digital document approval platforms like DocuSign and Adobe Sign would be beneficial Some travel may be necessary 25% or less (when required) What is an added plus? Bachelor's degree or a diploma with equivalent working experience in lieu of a degree 3-7 years related experience preferred Preferred large industrial construction procurement experience Prefer experience in multiple industrial market sectors Prior experience interfacing with client and engineering entities preferred
