The Purchasing Representative will be responsible for sourcing materials, obtaining quotations, issuing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring materials are available to support production schedules. The ideal candidate has experience working in a manufacturing environment and understands the importance of quality, cost, and on-time delivery. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Source raw materials, tooling, consumables, outside services, and production supplies. Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations based on price, quality, lead time, and service. Create and manage purchase orders within company systems. Track open purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery. Coordinate with production, engineering, quality, and management teams regarding material requirements. Maintain supplier records, pricing, and lead-time information. Support supplier performance monitoring and vendor evaluations. Resolve supplier issues involving delivery delays, shortages, quality concerns, or invoice discrepancies. Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment purchases as required. Negotiate pricing and lead times with suppliers when appropriate. Assist with continuous improvement initiatives related to purchasing and inventory control. Support

Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of purchasing, procurement, inventory control, or manufacturing experience. Strong organizational and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and follow-through. Preferred Experience in a machine shop, fabrication, aerospace, oil & gas, or industrial manufacturing environment. Experience purchasing metals, machining materials, tooling, or outside processing services. Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems. Knowledge of supplier management and inventory control practices. Pay:
