Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Procurement Agent to join our dynamic team in Tukwila, Washington .
Position Responsibilities:
Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position is for 1st shift. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.) Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): More than 2 years of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer More than 2 years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts More than 2 years of experience leading proposals, contract terms and conditions development, and negotiation efforts Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelor's degree or higher More than 2 years of experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processes More than 2 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management More than 2 years of experience in proposal development and contract negotiations with U.S.
Government Customers Typical Education/Experience:
Typically 2 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Travel:
Position may require travel up to 25% of the time.

Summary pay range:
