Job Summary:
The Hotel Maintenance Tech is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repair operations within the hotel. They will supervise their day work orders to ensure that all requests are carried out efficiently and in accordance with safety and quality standards while supporting the daily implementation of Level 5's "High Touch" facilities program.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
Maintaining and repairing physical structures of hotel buildings and groundsPainting, performing structural repairs to masonry, woodwork, and furnishings of buildings and carrying out basic electrical and plumbing tasks and preventive maintenanceAssisting with ground maintenance activities such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, removing weeds, and raking and disposing of leaves and refuseCleaning and up keep of hotel buildings, including buffing, dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and washing windowsAssisting other departments as requested, including moving furniture and unloading and storing suppliesInventories, requisitions and purchases tools, equipment, and supplies according to purchasing guidelinesEstablishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedulesAnalyzes and resolves work problems, or assists staff in solving work problems
Required Skills/ Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong supervisory and leadership skillsExtensive knowledge of hotel and hospitality industryProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Education and Experience:
High School diploma and Trade school course work in related field preferred.

Previous engineer/maintenance experience proffered
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position during shift.

Must be able to access and navigate the facility.

Employees are required to adhere to safety requirements by wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment.

Work is routine and repetitive in nature and may require strenuous physical exertion at times, including the ability to move objects weighing up to 50lbs.
