Job Description
Job Details Description Endries International currently has an opening for a Buyer . The Buyer is responsible for assisting in the procurement of fasteners and related products to meet the needs of our customers and support the overall operations of the organization. This role involves working closely with suppliers, monitoring inventory levels, and contributing to the success of our purchasing department. Essential Functions Maintain positive relationships with suppliers, communicate regularly, and negotiate terms, pricing, and deliver schedules Process purchase orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that orders are placed in a timely manner to maintain inventory levels and meet customer demand Monitor and analyze inventory levels to avoid overstock, and make recommendations for replenishment or adjustments Assist in negotiating favorable pricing and terms with suppliers, taking advantage of volume discounts and cost-saving opportunities Collaborate with quality teams to ensure that purchased products meet the required quality standards Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and new product developments to make informed purchasing decisions Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement within the procurement department Maintain accurate records of purchases, invoices, and contracts, and ensure all documentation is in compliance with company policies and procedures Replenish appropriate inventory through system signals to maintain stocking levels that support customer usage All other duties as assigned Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Strong negotiation and communication skills Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related field preferred Previous experience in procurement or purchasing role preferred Related industry experience and product knowledge preferred
