Core Functional Scope:

Direct total tool crib organization, issue materials, manage MRO inventory replenishment, and negotiate with suppliers to prevent die-casting production downtime.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

RESPONSIBILITIES

)

Manage Tool Crib & Issuance:

Oversee daily tool crib organization, issuing die-casting tooling, PPE, shop consumables, and maintenance supplies directly to production and maintenance teams.

Control Inventory & Min/Max Levels:

Track inventory transactions and maintain optimal minimum/maximum stock thresholds to eliminate stockouts and prevent shop floor interruptions.

Execute Purchasing & PO Creation:

Generate and process purchase orders for tooling, MRO items, and operational supplies within assigned purchasing authority while ensuring compliance with approval policies.

Source Quotes & Negotiate Terms:

Obtain competitive vendor quotes, negotiate pricing and commercial terms, and identify opportunities to consolidate supplies to drive cost reductions.

Track Delivery & Resolve Issues:

Monitor open purchase orders, follow up on supplier lead times, and resolve shipping discrepancies, pricing errors, or material returns.

Maintain Purchasing Records:

Log precise documentation for tool issuance, inventory receipts, purchase orders, and supplier performance evaluations.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

(REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS)

Job Stability Required:

Demonstrated career stability with a strict requirement of at least 2+ years of tenure at each previous employer.

Manufacturing Experience:

Hands-on background in manufacturing inventory control, tool crib coordination, or MRO purchasing (die casting, metalworking, machining, or heavy industrial experience preferred).

Technical Aptitude:

Strong mechanical aptitude with practical understanding of industrial tooling, shop supplies, and basic inventory management systems.

Commutable Radius:

Must reside within a 45-min maximum commute of the Cedarburg/ Greater Milwaukee, WI area.

Education & Authorization:

High School Diploma or equivalent required; must be fully authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

PREFERRED TECHNICAL ASSETS

Die Casting & Tooling Background:

Prior experience directly supporting high-pressure die casting (aluminum) or heavy CNC tooling environments.

ERP System Proficiency:
