Buyer II Royal Basket Trucks, Inc. | Darien, Wisconsin Royal Basket Trucks is seeking an experienced Buyer II to help keep materials, components, supplies, and outside services available for production. This role works closely with suppliers and our Production, Materials Management, Engineering, Quality, and Accounting teams. The right candidate is organized, accurate, and comfortable responding quickly when priorities or delivery dates change. As a team we share in the success and growth of our company. What you'll do Create and manage purchase orders, blanket orders, and releases based on production and inventory needs. Review MRP requirements, inventory levels, open orders, and supplier lead times to identify potential shortages. Confirm delivery commitments, follow up on late orders, and expedite materials when needed. Coordinate outside processing, supplier pickups, and deliveries. Maintain accurate supplier, pricing, lead time, and item information in our ERP system. Help identify additional suppliers and support supplier managed inventory programs. Partner with Quality to resolve nonconforming materials, returns, replacements, and credits. Communicate material availability and purchasing concerns clearly to internal teams. What you'll bring At least five years of buying or closely related experience, preferably in a fast paced, made to order manufacturing environment. Experience managing purchase orders and blanket orders throughout their life cycle. Working knowledge of MRP, inventory processes, and supplier coordination. Strong attention to detail, follow through, and communication skills. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office and math skills. An associate degree, APICS certification, and experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP are helpful but not required.
