9:00 AM - 3:00 PM - Lunch hour is paid or 9:00 AM-6:00 PM Lunch hour is paidJob Responsibilities:
Handle daily ocean import operations, primarily focusing on LCL (Less than Container Load) shipments . Coordinate with overseas offices, customers, carriers, warehouses, and other service providers. Prepare and process import shipping documents, including arrival notices, delivery orders, and customs-related documents. Monitor shipment status and coordinate cargo arrival, deconsolidation, and delivery arrangements. Track shipment schedules and ensure timely and accurate delivery of cargo. Enter and maintain shipment information in the company's system. Communicate with customers regarding shipment status, delivery schedules, and any issues. Coordinate with CFS (Container Freight Station) and trucking companies for cargo handling and delivery. Resolve shipment discrepancies, delays, and other operational issues. Ensure all import documentation and data are accurate and complete. Provide general administrative and operational support to the Ocean Import team.Preferred Qualifications:
1+ year of experience in Ocean Import Operations , preferably with LCL shipments. Knowledge of international shipping and import procedures. Experience with shipping documentation and data entry. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience with a freight forwarding or logistics company is preferred.Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hourEducation:
