Atlantic Square Dental Care Monterey Park, CA Job Details Part-time From $18 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits On-the-job training Qualifications Spanish Interpersonal skills Medical scheduling High school diploma or GED Attention to detail Computer skills Full Job Description We are looking to hire a friendly front office receptionist to join our practice. The right candidate must be personable, detail oriented, reliable, trustworthy, and have excellent customer service skills. Spanish speaking is highly preferred. Must be organized and a team player. Duties will include but are not limited to:
  • Maintaining a clean waiting area for patients
  • Greeting and checking patients in and out
  • Answering phone calls
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Checking dental insurances for verification of eligibility (Denti-cal and PPO) and treatment history
  • Collecting payments, present treatment plans The right candidate must be able to communicate effectively and must be able to read/make notes and follow instructions.
Computer skills are required, past experience with insurance verification and practice management software/EHR systems is beneficial for this position. Prior health front desk knowledge or experience is preferred but is not mandatory. On the job training can be provided and you may be asked to handle various tasks in the treatment area depending on your comfort and competency level. The current position will be part time with the possible transition to full time as competency is proven.
