Job Summary

The role of the Warehouse Agent is a physically demanding position, requiring regular and continuous lifting up to 30 lbs. Individuals who want to thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy physical work will be successful with our Warehouse Team. Express Cargo Agents perform a variety of warehouse duties, including receiving and processing inbound and outbound airfreight.

The expected pay rate is $21.50/hr. Full-time employees are offered a range of health and wellness benefits as well as 401(k) with company match paid vacation time, sick time, and company paid holidays.

Eligibility Requirement:

Candidates who are currently employed by Hallspan Aviation Services are not eligible for consideration for this position.

Your activities

Facilitate loading and unloading of trucks and move freight and containers throughout the cargo warehouse

Manually sort/transfer packages/boxes into and out of containers for aircraft and trucks with urgency

Ensure all cargo is scanned for tracking where appropriate.

Make sure label related to the cargo is correct

Assure proper handling and delivery of cargo and operation of related equipment

Roll loaded containers to staging positions

May operate pallet jacks or move package carts

Operates all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods

Follow Dangerous Goods Requirements and Regulations

Comply with Swissport Standard Operating Procedures and Policies

Your profile

Good command of the English language both verbal and written

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Must have a valid drivers license

Ability to pass all required background checks

Ability to lift 30 lbs unassisted

Ability to stand for long periods of time

Must be able to work flexible working hours

Ability to work in inclement weather when applicable
