This position is responsible for ensuring efficient freight movement internationally, managing relationships with customers, and optimizing transportation planning. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of international logistics and account management. Responsibilities Develop and implement effective transportation management strategies to enhance operational efficiency. Oversee transportation planning of Ocean and Air to ensure timely delivery of goods while minimizing costs. Build and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and service delivery. Utilize software for tracking shipments, and reporting on logistics performance. Negotiate rates with carriers and suppliers to secure favorable terms. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless logistics operations and customer satisfaction. Monitor industry trends to identify opportunities for improvement in freight management processes. Skills Proficient in transportation management and planning techniques. Strong customer relationship management abilities to foster long-term partnerships. Excellent negotiation skills for securing advantageous contracts with carriers. Knowledge of logistics sales strategies and account management practices. Strong analytical skills to assess performance metrics and make data-driven decisions.
