A leading transportation and logistics company in the Chattanooga area is seeking 2 Seasonal Daytime Tracking Representatives to join its team. In this role, you'll monitor shipments, communicate directly with drivers, update tracking information, and identify and escalate issues that could impact on-time delivery.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, focused, and comfortable with structured, task-oriented work.
What You'll DoTrack and trace shipments to ensure they are progressing on scheduleCommunicate directly with drivers and carriers by phone to obtain current locations and shipment updatesPerform check calls throughout the shipment lifecycleAccurately enter driver and shipment updates into the tracking systemIdentify and escalate late or at-risk shipmentsCommunicate shipment updates to internal teams, customers, and carriersMaintain accurate and up-to-date information across internal systemsWork through assigned lists of shipments and follow each load through deliveryWhat We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who can stay focused, communicate professionally, and take pride in accuracy and follow-through. This role can be a great fit for candidates with backgrounds in:
Call centers or contact centersCustomer serviceData entry or administrative supportTransportation, logistics, dispatch, or carrier managementRecent college graduates or candidates early in their careersYou don't have to be highly outgoing to succeed in this role, but you must be comfortable picking up the phone and communicating with drivers throughout the day.
