Overview We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Intercambista to join our international logistics and trade team. This role involves coordinating and managing cross-border exchange programs, facilitating international trade operations, and fostering strong relationships with clients and partners worldwide. Responsibilities Coordinate international exchange programs, ensuring compliance with trade regulations and customs procedures. Manage transportation planning for freight shipments, including air freight, ocean freight, and land logistics. Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and CRM software to track shipments, update client records, and optimize logistics workflows. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and vendors through effective communication and negotiation. Oversee freight brokerage activities, including contract negotiations, rate analysis, and carrier selection. Ensure adherence to international trade regulations such as FDA regulations and trade compliance standards. Facilitate shipping logistics for various cargo types, including freight forwarding logistics and 3PL (third-party logistics) services. Support sales management efforts by identifying new business opportunities in logistics sales and B2B markets. Conduct data entry related to shipments, contracts, and client interactions with precision. Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes related to transportation management systems and customer service. Experience Proven experience in logistics company operations or freight forwarding logistics roles. Familiarity with supply chain management, transportation management systems (TMS), and CRM software. Knowledge of shipping logistics including air freight, NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier), freight brokerage, and 3PL services. Understanding of international trade regulations such as FDA compliance and customs procedures. Experience in sales management or inside sales within the logistics or transportation industry. Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent customer service capabilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting, data entry, and communication purposes. Demonstrated ability to manage contracts effectively while maintaining client relationships. Knowledge of transportation planning, shipping logistics, freight forwarding logistics, and carrier sales processes.
