Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism in all interactions. Duties Operate delivery vehicles, including pick up trucks and flat bed trucks, to transport goods to various locations. Prepare items for shipment. Load and unload cargo, ensuring that items are secured properly for transport. Maintain accurate delivery logs and ensure timely deliveries according to schedule. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Utilize warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and fork lifts when necessary for loading and unloading tasks. Review and inspect custom metal while comparing parts to blueprints to ensure accuracy and completion of parts before delivery. Qualifications Experience as a delivery driver is preferred. Experience reading blueprints is preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards. Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo. Experience working in a warehouse environment is a plus. Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance.
