Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic County Administrator to lead our county's operations, foster community growth, and ensure effective governance. The County Administrator will serve as the chief executive officer of the county, driving strategic initiatives, overseeing financial management, and promoting innovative solutions to meet the needs of residents. Duties Provide executive leadership by developing and implementing strategic plans aligned with county goals and community needs Collaborate closely with board members, elected officials, and community partners to shape policies and initiatives that promote sustainable growth Oversee operational management across departments including public safety, health services, infrastructure, and economic development Lead business development efforts through grant acquisition, and partnership building to support county projects and programs Manage the county's budget at an executive level, ensuring fiscal responsibility while supporting innovative programs and services Supervise senior leadership teams, fostering a high-performance culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement Drive marketing initiatives to enhance public awareness of county services and initiatives while promoting community engagement Skills Extensive experience in corporate strategy, strategic planning, and operational management within government or nonprofit sectors Proven track record in executive leadership with strong skills in business management and team supervision Financial management expertise including budget development, financial analysis, and nonprofit financial oversight Strong background in nonprofit management, fundraising strategies, and business development activities Exceptional collaboration skills for working effectively with board members, senior leaders, and community stakeholders Demonstrated ability to lead large teams with a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement Expertise in marketing strategies that promote organizational visibility and stakeholder engagement Leadership qualities characterized by vision-setting, strategic thinking, and entrepreneurial spirit This role offers an inspiring environment where your leadership will directly influence community well-being and growth.
