Job Description

The Vice President of Ambulatory Operations is responsible for the strategic, operational, and financial leadership of the health system's ambulatory and physician practice network. This executive provides oversight for outpatient clinics, physician practices, ambulatory service lines, and related outpatient operations to ensure exceptional patient care, operational excellence, financial performance, and organizational growth. Working collaboratively with executive leadership, physicians, and department leaders, the Vice President develops and implements strategies that improve access, patient experience, quality outcomes, provider engagement, operational efficiency, and profitability across all ambulatory settings. This position fosters a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, regulatory compliance, and patient-centered care while supporting the organization's mission, vision, and strategic goals.
Pre-Employment Requirements:

Education:
Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Nursing, or a related healthcare field required.
Experience:
Minimum of seven to ten years of progressive healthcare leadership experience required. Minimum of five years of executive or senior leadership experience overseeing ambulatory operations, physician practices, or outpatient services required. Demonstrated experience leading multi-site physician practice operations preferred. Experience with strategic planning, operational improvement, physician relations, and financial management required.
