Job Description
President Confidential Scottsdale, AZ Job Details Full-time $250,000 - $300,000 a year 17 hours ago Benefits Relocation assistance Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Life insurance Qualifications Strategic management Organizational integration coordination Senior leadership Full Job Description Multi-Site Automotive Services Group | Arizona | Full-Time About Us We are a growing, multi-site automotive repair and maintenance group headquartered in Arizona. We acquire and operate quality independent shops across the state and invest in the people, systems, and standards that make them better. Our shops keep their community roots while gaining the resources of a larger organization: better tools, better training, better career paths, and a consistent customer experience. The Role We are hiring a President to lead day-to-day operations across our network. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the President owns the full operating P&L, builds and leads the management team, and drives performance, integration, and growth across all locations. This is a hands-on operating role for a proven multi-unit leader who wants to build something, not just manage it. What You Will Do Own the company P&L and deliver on performance targets: same-store sales growth, gross margin, labor efficiency, car count, average repair order, and location-level profitability Build and run a single operating system across every shop: pricing, workflow, parts sourcing, service advisor process, KPI dashboards, and a weekly operating cadence Lead the onboarding and integration of newly acquired shops, from day one through full conversion to company systems, pay plans, and reporting Ramp underperforming and newly acquired locations to full potential: diagnose issues in staffing, car count, and margin, and fix them on a defined timeline Recruit, develop, and lead a strong management team: regional operators, general managers, finance, and support functions Design pay plans and career paths that attract and retain great technicians and service advisors Partner with marketing on customer acquisition and retention: understand cost per car, lifetime value, and the levers that move car count Produce clear monthly reporting on financials, KPIs, and operational progress for company leadership What We Are Looking For 10+ years of leadership in multi-site, consumer-facing services, with at least 5 years running a network of 15+ locations with full P&L responsibility Experience integrating acquired locations: converting systems, transitioning teams, and improving performance post-acquisition A track record of ramping underperforming locations to target performance Strong financial rigor: fluent in unit economics, budgeting, and margin management Fluency in B2C unit economics on the marketing side: cost per car, customer lifetime value, retention programs, and online reputation A systems builder who has created the scorecard, cadence, and playbook rather than inherited them Strategic judgment: able to set direction for a growing multi-site business, not just execute a plan handed down Executive presence: comfortable presenting to ownership, boards, lenders, and outside partners, and representing the company externally Capital allocation instincts: knows where the next dollar earns the best return across locations, equipment, people, and growth Decisive under ambiguity: able to make consequential calls with incomplete information and own the outcome Room to grow: we are building for the long term, and this role carries significant runway for the right leader as the company scales Automotive aftermarket experience strongly preferred: general repair, tire and service, quick lube, collision, or dealership fixed operations. Multi-unit leaders from adjacent industries (car wash, home services, health services) are also encouraged to apply Based in or willing to relocate to the Arizona area, with regular travel to locations across the state Compensation and Benefits Competitive base salary plus performance bonus Long-term incentive and equity participation for the right candidate Relocation assistance available We are an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
