#90276 Job Description Our DoD/Aerospace Client is looking to fill a Sr Advanced TIDES Engineer position supporting integrated spacecraft test environments across hardware, firmware, and software infrastructure. This senior technical role will support spacecraft payload development, design verification, production testing, and sustainment while coordinating across multidisciplinary engineering and program teams. The position is based in Scottsdale, AZ and offers fully on-site or hybrid/flex work options.Location:

DoD TS/SCI preferred at time of hire; must be able to obtain TS/SCI clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire Position Overview As the Sr Advanced TIDES Engineer, you'll be responsible for serving as a senior cross-functional technical lead supporting spacecraft Test Integration & Development Environments across System Test Environment hardware, Platform Integration & Evolution firmware, and Standard Software Infrastructure. You will lead and support the architecture, design, integration, verification, deployment, and maturation of test environments used for spacecraft payload development, unit verification, production testing, module and power converter testing, calibration, and sustainment. Responsibilities include translating payload requirements into test capabilities, measurement approaches, interface needs, verification methods, and evidence-generation plans. You will coordinate across hardware, FPGA, software, systems engineering, Integration & Test, Manufacturing Operations, and program teams while supporting technical trade studies, proposals, BOEs, cost and risk analysis, test readiness activities, and reusable test infrastructure. What You Bring to theTable:
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; OR a Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience Ability to support integrated spacecraft test environments across hardware, firmware, and software infrastructure Ability to translate payload and program requirements into test capabilities, measurement approaches, interface requirements, verification methods, and evidence-generation plans Ability to support test environment architecture, design, integration, and verification Ability to develop and support engineering design packages, including top-level assemblies, interface control documents, cable packages, rack architectures, RF drawer concepts, FPGA/I/O drawer concepts, calibration planning, BOM coordination, and test readiness artifacts Ability to coordinate FPGA and digital I/O requirements across test racks, payload interfaces, data capture paths, and timing/reference distribution Ability to identify gaps between payload requirements, available test capabilities, ATP coverage, calibration approaches, and formal verification evidence Ability to support technical trade studies involving hardware, FPGA, software infrastructure, automation, calibration, verification, schedule, cost, and risk Ability to translate ambiguous program requirements into executable architectures, phased implementation plans, staffing needs, risks, and decision points Ability to communicate technical issues, risks, impacts, and corrective actions across engineering teams and leadership U.S. citizenship is required DoD TS/SCI security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire and meet U.S. Government eligibility requirements for access to classified informationWhat Sets You Apart:
Experience with spacecraft payload development, integration, verification, production test, or sustainment Strong understanding of system test environments, automated test systems, RF test equipment, FPGA-based interfaces, rack-level integration, test data infrastructure, and networked lab environments Experience working backward from payload requirements to define required stimulus, measurement, cabling, calibration, software, network configuration, and ATP evidence Experience with requirements analysis and traceability, interface definition, system integration, verification planning, and test readiness reviews Experience supporting proposals, BOEs, technical volumes, basis-of-estimate narratives, labor estimates, risks, assumptions, and technical solution trades Experience configuring and sustaining test networks and lab infrastructure, including static IP planning, isolated instrument LANs, 10G data paths, servers/workstations, software deployment, backup/data handling, and networked test equipment troubleshooting Familiarity with LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, Git, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker, networked test systems, and instrument control Familiarity with FPGA development, high-speed digital interfaces, timing/reference distribution, JESD204B, Ethernet/10G data paths, and hardware-in-the-loop testing Strong technical knowledge across electrical hardware, software infrastructure, systems engineering, lab infrastructure, and software deployment Demonstrated ability to lead technical coordination across multiple teams, resolve ambiguity, remove blockers, and drive complex integration issues to closure Experience mentoring engineers and establishing consistent engineering practices across multidisciplinary teams Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to brief technical risks, trade studies, readiness gaps, and corrective actions Ability to appropriately leverage AI-enabled tools for engineering productivity, research, documentation, automation, analysis, and decision support while applying independent technical judgment and verification Focus on improving reuse, standardization, automation, resiliency, and long-term supportability across program test environmentsAbout Our Client:
