Job Description

Summary:
- Manage the day-to-day regional operations in compliance with established policies and procedures, and the company's Code of Conduct, including all relevant safety policies. Manage inventory allocation, procurement activities and operations for the region. Ensure proper training of staff, prepare related reports, and audit current regional procedures for improved efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide direction and leadership to the regional operations team (Branch Operations Managers) with regard to the sourcing of equipment within the region.
- Responsible for demand planning (based on input from and cooperation with branches within region) and sourcing material and coordinating transfers to / from locations within and outside of the region through interaction with peers.
- Coaching and training all Branch Operations Managers on proper execution of standard inventory transactions.
- Manage intercompany and customer freight as required for the movement of inventory to/from locations within and outside of the region.
- Regional cost management, including preparation of annual expense and capex budget for operations.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education combined with five years of related working experience or equivalent.
- Training or experience in any of the following areas preferred:
- Industrial Engineering Technician.
- Process Mapping for Continuous Improvement.
- Lean Management Principles.
- Six Sigma.
- Completed Health and Safety training as prescribed by safety management. NCSO designation or equivalent
- preferred.
Other Qualifications:
_- Good analytical skills.
- Familiarity and experience with inventory control systems, processes and procedures.
- Technological skills (Exceptional with MS Excel, average or above with other MS Office applications, ability to understand and use ERP and Inventory control software
- Profield, Oracle).
- Experience with continuous improvement techniques (Lean, Six Sigma)
- preferred.
- OSHA 30 training or equivalent
- preferred.
