This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and parental leave Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Transportation, Logistics, or a related field. 10+ years of progressive operational leadership experience. Demonstrated experience leading multiple locations, business units, or operating teams. Proven experience managing and developing General Managers or other senior leaders. Meaningful P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and financial accountability. Strong understanding of operations within transportation, logistics, fleet, transit, or another complex multi-site environment. Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with frontline employees through senior executives. A people-first leadership style with strong empathy and an understanding of the driver/frontline employee mentality. Demonstrated ability to improve operational and financial performance. Comfortable with significant regional travel. Primary Responsibilities Provide executive leadership across multiple California locations and business units. Lead, coach, and develop General Managers and other senior operational leaders. Maintain full P&L accountability for the assigned region. Oversee budgets, forecasting, capital expenditures, and financial performance. Identify opportunities to improve margins, productivity, utilization, and overall profitability. Establish clear performance expectations and accountability across the region. Build strong relationships with drivers, frontline employees, General Managers, and senior leadership. Develop a culture of accountability while maintaining a strong focus on employee engagement and retentions. Partner with Sales, Business Development, Safety, HR, Legal, and Executive Leadership on strategic initiatives. Support customer relationships, business development, new contract awards, acquisitions, and operational integrations. Identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions that improve service and financial performance. Ensure consistent operating standards across geographically dispersed locations.
