The Opportunity The President serves as the senior-most operating executive of the company, with full profit and loss accountability and as the principal architect and operator for the company's growth strategy. This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role requiring equal effectiveness on the manufacturing floor and in executive-level business environments. The successful candidate will understand operational excellence, build and develop high-performing leadership teams, drive continuous improvement initiatives, win new business, strengthen customer relationships, and evaluate strategic acquisition opportunities. Success in this role requires a leader who can simultaneously build the organization, scale operations, and execute a growth strategy supported by clear operational and financial drivers, including capacity expansion, capability enhancement, customer diversification, and mergers and acquisitions. Key Responsibilities Strategy & Growth Lead the company's growth strategy through organic expansion, new customer acquisition, capacity enhancement, and strategic acquisitions. Evaluate and integrate acquisition opportunities that expand capabilities, geographic reach, or customer diversification. Develop the optimal mix of Class 1, Class 2, and Class 3 manufacturing work. Represent the company with key customers, suppliers, and acquisition targets. Sales, Marketing & Customer Development Build a repeatable business development engine that consistently wins and launches new OEM programs. Expand relationships with existing customers while reducing dependence on any single customer, representative, or end market. Strengthen marketing capabilities and drive disciplined pricing, quoting, and program management practices. Operations & Financial Performance Maintain full accountability for revenue, margin, and EBITDA performance across the business. Drive continuous improvement across manufacturing, quality, and supply chain while building scalable, repeatable processes. Develop operational leaders and teams capable of running the business independently and sustaining growth. Oversee capacity planning, capital investments, and profitability improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with
ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO
13485, and ITAR requirements. Leadership & Culture Build and develop a high-performing leadership team across Operations, Sales, Quality, Finance, and HR. Create a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement supported by clear KPIs and data-driven decision making. Serve as a visible leader who embraces and reinforces values while leveraging the resources of the broader organization. Financial Stewardship & Governance Partner with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, capital allocation, and growth investments. Ensure disciplined communication, reporting, and execution across the organization. Candidate Profile Experience 15+ years of leadership experience within EMS, contract manufacturing, or precision manufacturing environments. 5+ years of P&L leadership experience as a President, General Manager, COO, Division VP, or similar executive role. Proven track record of scaling manufacturing organizations and winning OEM business in aerospace & defense, medical device, and/or industrial markets. M&A experience, including acquisition evaluation and integration, strongly preferred. Functional Expertise Strong knowledge of PCB assembly, box-build integration, quality systems, and supply chain operations. Working knowledge of
ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, ITAR, ERP/MES
systems, and Lean Manufacturing principles. Demonstrated ability to use data and operational metrics to drive performance. Leadership Attributes Builder mentality with a passion for growth, operational excellence, and value creation. Equally effective interacting with production teams, customers, executive leadership, and ownership. Decisive, financially astute, and comfortable leading through change in a growth-focused environment. Humble, accountable, and committed to continuous improvement.
