Role:
Job Summary The Vice President of Regional Operations - Southern Market reports to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Northeast Georgia Health System. The Vice President provides executive leadership and oversight of Northeast Georgia Health System's (NGHS) southern market that includes Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC) Braselton, NGMC Barrow and NGHS' home health and inpatient rehab joint ventures. Responsible for executing strategic initiatives to optimize operational effectiveness with a focus on accelerated growth in market share, exceptional care experience, clinical quality outcomes and financial performance. The Vice President cultivates and develops relationships and capitalizes on market synergies to create opportunities to support market growth and financial objectives. Minimum Job Qualifications Licensure or other certifications:
Educational Requirements:
Masters Degree.
Minimum Experience:
Minimum seven (7) to ten (10) years of progressive experience in healthcare leadership.

Serve as executive liaison with medical staff regarding concerns, issues and questions pertaining to operations of assigned regional market and system-level service lines. Translate initiatives into action plans at the regional level with appropriate performance measures. Assume fiscal responsibility through budgetary planning and implementation. Demonstrate strong business acumen and knowledge of staffing, capacity, ROI, budget, margins, service and product offerings to implement and drive strategic and relevant operational outcomes. Foster a "Just Culture" of shared accountability and respond to behaviors of employees in a fair and just manner. Drive innovation, transformation, and performance initiatives that achieve regional growth, service and quality objectives. Champion a culture of high reliability and lean management. Provide effective leadership, coaching, and mentoring to leaders within assigned regional market locations. Work collaboratively with system-level department leaders to establish and maintain effective relationships. Establish regular communication to ensure effective cascade of information to both regional and system-level leaders. Create and cultivate a diverse and inclusive work environment. Develop a strong community and brand presence within assigned regional market by establishing and leveraging effective relationships with business, government and community leaders. Stay abreast of the competitive market, industry, and government and regulatory environment to anticipate and assess implications for regional market. Performs other duties as assigned.
