Overview UnityPoint Health is seeking an experienced healthcare executive to serve as Vice President, Clinic Operations for the Sioux City market. This leader will provide strategic and operational leadership for UnityPoint Clinic operations across the market, with responsibility for advancing high-quality patient care, operational and financial performance, provider and team member experience, and continued growth. Reporting to the UnityPoint Clinic COO, the Vice President will serve as a key member of the market's senior leadership team and partner closely with hospital, clinic and physician leaders to advance an integrated strategy for the region. Responsibilities Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for UnityPoint Clinic operations and assigned outpatient hospital departments across the Sioux City market. Lead the development and execution of market strategies that advance clinical quality, patient and provider experience, operational performance and growth. Partner with physician, hospital and market leaders to strengthen alignment and ensure an integrated approach to care delivery. Identify market development opportunities and lead strategies to grow services, provider networks, patient volumes and market share. Advance primary care access and identify opportunities to strengthen specialty services based on the needs of the community. Provide oversight of financial, human and capital resources, including budgets, operating performance, productivity, cost controls and corrective action when needed. Monitor clinic performance and operational metrics, using data to identify opportunities and drive measurable improvement. Lead market-wide process improvement and innovation in clinical care delivery. Recruit, retain, develop and lead a high-performing leadership team while creating clear expectations and accountability for results. Partner with physician leaders on provider recruitment, development, engagement and alignment. Lead and support organizational change, including the continued integration of acquired practices and teams across a complex healthcare environment. Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, accreditation, licensing and organizational requirements. Serve as a visible leader across the market, building strong relationships with providers, team members, community partners and other key stakeholders.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, health administration or related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare administration, including 5-8 years of experience leading and directing physician operations and related lines of business. Experience working within an integrated delivery system. Demonstrated healthcare operational leadership experience, including financial management, performance improvement and physician/provider operations.
Preferred:
Master's degree. Demonstrated experience planning and executing complex projects across the continuum of care. Experience within a complex clinic and/or hospital environment.
