Please review thoroughly before submitting your application. ※ Company Overview An established food manufacturing company specializing in meat products is seeking an Accounting Generalist to support its local manufacturing operation of approximately 100 employees. The organization offers a stable operating environment and a comprehensive employer-sponsored benefits package. Position Summary The Accounting Generalist serves as the primary accounting professional for the facility and is responsible for maintaining core financial processes, records, and reporting. This position works independently with confidential financial information and provides financial reporting and accounting support to senior management. Key Responsibilities Maintain the general ledger and post adjusting entries. Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and management reports. Complete month-end reporting for sales, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, production, and depreciation. Prepare weekly sales reports and analyze inventory. Reconcile bank accounts monthly. Maintain fixed asset and depreciation records. Assist senior management with annual budgeting. Prepare year-end 1099 forms. Provide payroll support as needed. Process employee expense reimbursements. Process ACH and check payments. Compile information for company liability insurance and related management needs. Handle confidential financial and business information.Qualifications Required:
Accounting experience or equivalent relevant professional experience. Strong general office and clerical skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to work independently and manage accounting responsibilities with minimal supervision.Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. QuickBooks experience.
