Job Description

Advena Living is seeking an accomplished Vice President of Regional Operations (LNHA) to provide senior operational leadership across our communities. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in long-term care, assisted living, and nursing home administration, demonstrating strong leadership, strategic planning, and regulatory compliance expertise. The Vice President of Regional Operations serves as the primary operating extension of the Chief Operating Officer and directly leads our Executive Directors/Administrators. The Vice President of Regional Operations is accountable for the performance of those leaders and, through them, the overall operational performance of the communities in the region. Duties Lead, coach, develop, and hold Executive Directors/Administrators accountable for community performance. Drive operational, financial, regulatory, quality, and resident experience results across the region. Translate organizational strategy, standards, and goals into consistent community-level execution. Establish clear expectations, accountability, and performance measures. Identify challenges and opportunities and ensure leaders take timely, effective action. Partner with Regional and Home Office functional leaders to support community success. Qualifications Current unrestricted Kansas Adult Care Home Administrator license; maintain licensure and CE requirements. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent advanced experience where legally permissible and consistent with policy. At least five years progressive skilled nursing/senior living leadership, including at least three years successful Administrator/Executive Director experience. Demonstrated success in regulatory performance, leadership development, workforce management, resident service and financial performance. Strong working knowledge of federal nursing-facility requirements, CMS survey processes, Kansas adult-care-home requirements, Medicare, Medicaid/KanCare, managed care and private pay as applicable. Ability to analyze P&Ls, balance sheets, labor, census, AR, quality data and operating dashboards and convert findings into action. Exceptional judgment, communication, coaching, conflict-resolution, organization and problem-solving skills. Ability to travel extensively among Advena communities, including overnight stays and extended hours when necessary. Multi-site/regional leadership and both SNF and assisted-living experience preferred. Advena Living - Your career. Your choice. Welcome to the team.
