Job Description

An established quick-service restaurant organization is seeking an experienced Vice President of Operations to lead a large portfolio of locations throughout Southern New Jersey. Reporting directly to ownership, this position is responsible for financial performance, operational execution, leadership development, and consistent company standards across all restaurants. This is a hands-on field position requiring regular restaurant visits, including during peak operating periods. Responsibilities Lead, coach, and hold the multi-unit operations team accountable for results. Oversee sales, profitability, labor, food cost, inventory, staffing, food safety, guest experience, and brand standards. Review P&Ls and operating reports to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Develop and monitor improvement plans for underperforming restaurants. Establish consistent operating expectations, communication, and follow-through. Build leadership capability and succession plans throughout the organization. Partner with Human Resources, Finance, Training, Marketing, and Facilities to support restaurant performance. Support new openings, acquisitions, remodels, and leadership transitions. Provide ownership with clear reporting on performance, priorities, and operational risks. Respond to urgent operational matters when necessary. Qualifications At least seven years of progressive multi-unit restaurant operations experience. At least three years in a senior operational leadership position. Recent experience directly managing leaders who independently oversee multi-location restaurant territories. Extensive QSR, fast-casual, drive-thru, coffee, breakfast, or other high-transaction restaurant experience. Strong knowledge of multi-unit P&L management, labor, food cost, inventory, staffing, food safety, and profitability. Proven success improving underperforming restaurants and developing management. Strong communication, judgment, organization, and follow-through. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Must currently reside within 50 miles of Atlantic County, NJ. Ability to travel regularly throughout Southern New Jersey and work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
