Job Description
Community Care Rx is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a large, fast-paced pharmacy organization. A pharmacy degree is preferred but not required. We welcome candidates from pharmacy or healthcare operations backgrounds who have a proven track record of successfully managing large teams and complex operations. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and motivate pharmacy staff and department managers.
- Develop and manage employee schedules to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
- Monitor staff performance and conduct regular performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, state and federal regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Drive operational excellence, productivity, and continuous quality improvement.
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members while promoting accountability.
- Coordinate with executive leadership to achieve operational and strategic goals.
- Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure operational targets are achieved.
- Foster a positive, professional, and patient-centered workplace culture. Qualifications
- 5+ years of management experience in pharmacy, healthcare, or a similarly regulated operational environment.
- Demonstrated success leading large teams and managing daily operations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with scheduling, performance management, compliance, and operational planning.
- Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Pharmacy management experience is strongly preferred.
