As active real estate investors ourselves, we bring firsthand industry expertise to the clients we serve. Top to bottom, we create a culture of proactive responsiveness and problem solving that serves to eliminate owner headaches and elevate the leasing experience for residents. We accomplish this through a system that combines dynamic, collaborative teamwork with individual ownership and accountability. Paired with transparent, high-level communication, our team consistently exceeds expectations. Simply put, we are committed to delivering an exceptional property management experience for both owners and residents. The role The VP of Internal Operations is a senior leadership role responsible for ensuring that the internal functions supporting Keyrenter's operations are effective, scalable, accountable, and aligned with the needs of the business. This role oversees the people, systems, processes, accounting, compliance, and internal support functions that allow our property management teams to operate successfully across multiple markets. The VP of Internal Operations will lead the team members responsible for these functions, establish clear performance expectations, use measurable scorecards to drive accountability, and continuously improve how work gets done across the organization. This role requires someone who can operate at both a strategic and tactical level—building systems and structure for the future while remaining close enough to the day-to-day operation to identify problems, remove roadblocks, and ensure consistent execution. Systems & Processes — Technology, software administration, core systems, documented processes, and operational consistency. Accounting — Internal and client-facing accounting, including statements, invoicing, AP, trust accounting, and controls. Compliance & Risk — Compliance, licensing, legal coordination, and operational risk management. Internal Support — Virtual Assistant team management, internal support functions, and employee experience. Core Responsibilities Lead and hold accountable the leaders and teams within our Operation Team. Own the operational scorecard and drive each function toward established KPIs and performance targets. Run the weekly Operations meeting, ensuring clear priorities, ownership, and follow-through. Drive standardization and continuous improvement of systems, processes, SOPs, and cross-functional handoffs. Identify operational gaps and implement scalable solutions that support the company's continued growth. Provide the COO and leadership team with visibility into operational performance, risks, and priorities, and approve expenditures within delegated authority. Who Are You? You are a strong operational leader who brings structure, accountability, and clarity to a growing organization. You know how to lead through other leaders, use data to drive performance, and turn operational challenges into practical, scalable solutions.
