VP of Operations & Manufacturing Posted on June 9, 2025 June 9, 2025 by JMJ Phillip We are seeking a visionary and results-oriented VP of Operations & Manufacturing to lead all aspects of production, supply chain, and operational excellence within a dynamic and growth-focused organization. This executive will play a pivotal role in shaping strategic direction, scaling manufacturing capabilities, and ensuring operational efficiency across the enterprise. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a deep understanding of lean principles, quality systems, and team development. Position Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Define and drive the operations and manufacturing strategy in alignment with overall company goals Identify growth opportunities and operational improvements to increase scalability and efficiency Partner closely with executive leadership on long-term planning and investment decisions Manufacturing Oversight Oversee day-to-day production and plant operations across multiple facilities Champion lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards across the production lifecycle Supply Chain & Logistics Management Direct procurement, inventory, distribution, and logistics functions Optimize supply chain networks for cost efficiency and risk mitigation Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure reliable material flow and inventory control Team Development & Culture Build and lead high-performing operations and manufacturing teams Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning Develop leadership talent and succession plans within the organization Prerequisites 15+ years of progressive experience in operations and manufacturing leadership, including multi-site responsibility Demonstrated success in scaling production capabilities and leading major transformation initiatives Strong financial acumen and experience managing large budgets and capital projects Deep understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and supply chain best practices Proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and inspire teams Certifications (Preferred, but not Required) Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt or Master Black Belt) Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) MBA or advanced degree in Operations, Engineering, or related field What the Role Offers Competitive base salary: $180,000 - $250,000 Executive-level influence on strategy and company direction Opportunity to lead transformational growth initiatives Collaborative leadership environment with a strong focus on innovation Comprehensive executive benefits package Why Spokane Valley?
