Hours:
Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pmStarting Salary:
$70,000- 80,000, annually with bonus opportunities Job Duties for
Contract Administrator:
Draft, review, and administer subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company standards and applicable law. Track key contract dates, deliverables, notice provisions, and milestones; proactively flag risks, conflicts, or missing terms to project managers and leadership. Coordinate the change order and claims process, including preparation, submission, negotiation support, and tracking through approval and payment. Collect, verify, and track required project documentation, including certificates of insurance (COIs), payment and performance bonds, lien waivers, prequalification packages, and subcontractor compliance documents. Monitor bonding and insurance requirements on each contract and coordinate with the surety/insurance broker to obtain and maintain required coverage. Support monthly pay application and billing cycles by confirming contract terms, retainage, and billing schedules align with executed agreements. Assist project managers and estimating with contract terms during bid review and preconstruction, including flagging unfavorable or high-risk clauses for review by leadership or legal counsel. Liaise with subcontractors and legal counsel to resolve contract discrepancies, disputes, and interpretation questions. Track statutory notice and lien deadlines by state/jurisdiction to protect the company's lien and bond claim rights. Prepare contract status reports and summaries for project and executive review. Support contract closeout, including final lien waivers, warranty documentation, and release of retainage. Job Requirements forContract Administrator:
5-7 years of experience in contract administration, construction project administration, or a related role, ideally within civil, sitework, heavy civil, or general construction. Working knowledge of standard construction contract forms (AIA, DocuSign, or similar) and subcontract agreements. Proficiency with construction management/ERP software, ideally in Viewpoint Vista and B2W. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Paralegal Studies, Finance, or a related field required.
