Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Construction Administrator for a temp-to-hire opportunity with a busy and growing construction team in La Palma, CA. This role is ideal for a highly organized administrative professional with hands-on construction compliance experience, including preliminary notices, lien releases, certificates of insurance, bonding, contracts and related documentation. The Construction Administrator will support project, operations, accounting, sales and customer-facing teams by keeping contract and compliance processes accurate, timely and well organized. Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the review, execution and administration of construction contracts and related compliance documentation.
  • Prepare, file and track preliminary notices, lien releases, lien waivers, bonds and certificates of insurance.
  • Review contract language and identify key clauses related to indemnification, liquidated damages, consequential damages and other compliance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate contract records, contractor prequalification documents, business license renewals and certifications for CA, AZ and NV.
  • Respond to contract-related questions from Project Managers, Sales, Operations, Accounting, customers and other internal stakeholders.
  • Manage a high volume of deadlines, requests and changing priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. Compensation and Benefits
  • Pay range: $58,240 to $60,000 per year.

  • Coordinate construction contract administration and compliance documentation.
  • Prepare and track preliminary notices, lien releases, lien waivers, bonds and COIs.
  • Support contract review, prequalification packages, business license renewals and deadline-driven administrative requests.
  • 3-5 years of related administrative, contract administration or construction project administration experience.
