Job Description
Job Summary A Bid Coordinator opportunity is available in Mira Loma, CA, supporting K-12 construction and public works projects. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented construction administrative, estimating support, or proposal coordination professional who enjoys managing deadlines, organizing bid documents, and helping teams submit accurate, compliant proposals. The Bid Coordinator will work closely with preconstruction, estimating, and project management teams in a collaborative environment where accuracy, communication, and follow-through are highly valued. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and track K-12 school district bidding opportunities, RFQs, RFPs, addenda, and proposal deadlines.
- Prepare, assemble, and submit bid packages, qualification statements, compliance forms, and related proposal documentation.
- Coordinate required certifications, licenses, bonds, insurance documents, forms, and other public works bid requirements.
- Solicit subcontractor and supplier participation, track quotes, and maintain communication throughout the bid process.
- Maintain bid calendars, bid logs, databases, electronic files, and organized proposal records.
- Support estimating and project management teams with documentation, contract execution, and project turnover after award. Compensation and Benefits

Mira Loma, CA. Required Qualifications and Skills- Coordinate bid preparation and proposal submissions for K-12 construction and public works projects.
- Manage bid calendars, deadlines, RFQs, RFPs, addenda, and required compliance documentation.
- Support estimating and preconstruction teams with subcontractor outreach, quote tracking, and proposal organization.
- Maintain accurate bid files, logs, databases, and post-award turnover documentation.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in bid coordination, proposal management, estimating support, construction administration, or a related role.
- Familiarity with public works contracting procedures, compliance requirements, and construction bid processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines, shifting priorities, and detailed documentation with accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for internal coordination and subcontractor outreach.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to follow-up. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with K-12 construction, educational facilities, school district projects, or California public contracting.
- Familiarity with construction management and bid platforms such as BuildingConnected, PlanetBids, Procore, e-Builder, BidNet, SmartBid, or ConstructConnect.
- Knowledge of California school district procurement processes and public works bid compliance requirements.
